Two brothers convicted for murder were hanged in Vihari Wednesday, Express News reported.
Both brothers were hanged in Vihari Central Jail early this morning, amid high security and remained on death row since 2001 for the murder of two people
Unauthorised people were prohibited from entry to the prison during the time of the hanging.

The bodies of Bashir and his brother were handed over to the families for burial following the hanging.
Since the lifting of the moratorium on capital punishment by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif last year, over 300 death row convicts have faced execution.
