The group leader of SSOG Akhtar Ali said that as Quaid-i-Azam was the Chief Scout of Pakistan, we regularly celebrate his birthday except the three years of insurgency. We organise different activities on this occasion to recall the great leader of the South Asian Subcontinent in high spirits.
The performance of the scouts, especially those renditions that expressed unity among all Pakistanis, was applauded by the audience.
Policeman Siyab Khan told The Express Tribune, “This is real mental refreshment. Today these scouts made us laugh and reacquainted us with our great cultural heritage. They also presented the views of our great leader in the form of skits, tableaus and speeches. Three years of stress and boredom ended today because of their performance.”
Local journalist Mahmood Rafique Babu said that we should remember our heroes through such healthy activities and they should be encouraged and organized on a regular basis.
