Health Initiative: Water filtration plant installed
The water filtration plant will now provide access to safe drinking water to almost 4000 individuals daily

A water filtration plant was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Lady Willingdon Hospital. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Dr Zafar Yusuf, the Lady Willingdon Hospital medical superintendent, said that the plant would provide clean drinking water to hospital workers and patients. “Earlier, tests of water available at Lady Willingdon Hospital had showed the presence of arsenic. The water filtration plant will now provide access to safe drinking water to almost 4,000 individuals daily,” he said.
