City administration: Garbage piles up in Mauripur
Commissioner said that all civic problems, including inadequate cleanliness must be addressed
KARACHI:
City commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui issued orders to the relevant officials to address the issues of potable water scarcity and inadequate garbage disposal in Mauripur, at a meeting held on the directives of Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah. Commissioner said that all civic problems, including inadequate cleanliness, frequent traffic jams on Mauripur Road and sewerage issues in localities near Masroor Base must be addressed. He directed the Mauripur assistant-commissioner to impose a ban on throwing garbage in the area that are close to the base premises and keep a mandatory certificate provision of the garbage disposal vans.
