Tax Recovery: 6 outlets de-sealed after token payment

PRA enforcement team had sealed these shops on Thursday

LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority on Saturday de-sealed outlets of six of the eight fashion designers that were sealed on Thursday over nonpayment of taxes. -The six designers whose shops were de-sealed paid a sum of Rs8 million and assured that they would clear the arrears in a few days, PRA spokesman, Mohiuddin Wani, told The Express Tribune. He said the designers had also started registration process with the PRa. These designers were Zara Shahjahan, Rubayat, Gulaci, Sania Maskatiya, Ammar Belal and Nida Azwar. The outlets of Shirin Hassan and Muse remained sealed. PRA enforcement team had sealed these shops on Thursday.
