For the second time: Olson meets PML-Q leaders
The country’s relations with hostile neighbour India and other matters of mutual interest also came under discussion

US Ambassador Richard Olson held an hour-long meeting with former premier and head of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Quaid) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Friday. He also met the party’s senior central leader and former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Parvaiz Elahi at his residence in Islamabad on the same day.
Both PML-Q leaders expressed strong concern about the Indian attitude and the prolonged firing and shelling carried out by its troops on the working boundary and on the Line of Control. These acts have led to the deaths of civilians in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, according to the PML-Q leaders.

This was the US ambassador’s second meeting with the PML leaders in recent days. During the meeting views were exchanged about Pak-US relations, Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as the situation in the region.
