KARACHI:
Officials and personnel in plain clothes raided Ziauddin Hospital North Nazimabad campus once again and, while examining documents and data, confiscated some important documents.
This was the second raid conducted by law enforcers within four days. Earlier on August 29, the deputy managing director of Ziauddin Hospital, Dr Yousuf Sattar, was picked up by personnel of a law enforcement agency while an incharge of the maintenance department was picked up on the same day during a raid by law enforcers at Ziauddin's Clifton branch. However, despite the passage of four days, the arrests have yet to be disclosed.
Witnesses at Ziauddin Hospital in North Nazimabad told The Express Tribune that some uniformed and plain-clothed personnel had arrived at the hospital and, after examining documents and data, they took some important data away with them while leaving. They added that no one was arrested during the raid.
