Former WWE wrestler arrested in 32-year-old murder case
Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka has been charged for murdering his girlfriend in 1983
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) seems to be making headlines for all the wrong reasons as just a day after a shootout outside a WWE Performance Center, a former WWE wrestler was charged with murder, The Morning Call reported.
WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka was arrested in New Jersey on Tuesday in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, in 1983.
Earlier, during a news conference, Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin announced that Snuka had been charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter of his then 23-year-old girlfriend.

According to records, Snuka found Argentino gasping for air and oozing yellow fluid from her mouth and nose at a Whitehall Township motel room when he returned after a WWE taping at the Allentown Fairgrounds on May 10, 1983. Later, she was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Argentino’s autopsy showed that she had died of traumatic brain injuries and suffered more than two dozen cuts and bruises — a possible sign of “mate abuse”. However, Snuka was never charged.

The arrest of former WWE wrestler came just a day after police shot a deranged fan ‘obsessed’ with a female wrestler outside the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida after he confronted the Florida Sheriff’s deputies.
The 29-year-old man was obsessed with a female wrestler to such an extent that a court order had to been obtained against him. According to Orange County Sheriff, Jerry Demings, the man suffered life threatening injuries after being shot by deputies, adding that at the time of incident the female wrestler was not at the WWE facility, CNNreported. Sheriff Demings refused to name the injured; however, nydailynewsidentified him as Armando Montalvo while the female wrestler was identified as AJ Lee.
