Four grenades and a suicide jacket were seized from the hideout

Three men suspected of involvement in Youhanabad suicide blasts were killed in a shootout on Tuesday, Batapur SHO Raja Muzammal told The Express Tribune. He said an official of the Crime Investigation Agency was injured in the incident. He said the suspects had been identified as Sana Ullah, Imran and Shah Qanoon. He said the suspects opened fire on a police team that had raided their hideout near the BRB Canal on a tip off. The police team returned fire, killing them on the spot. A bullet fired by one of the suspects injured SI Maqsood Hayat who was taken to a nearby hospital. The SHO said the suspects were believed to be involved in suicide attacks on churches in Youhanabad. Four grenades and a suicide jacket were seized from the hideout, he said. He added a team later cordoned off the area and carried out a search operation.
