Following a meeting of faculty members from across the province’s public sector universities at the University of Peshawar, the participants threatened to padlock varsities if the government does not address their demands. With FAPUASA President Dr Fazal Nasir in chair, the attendees condemned the delay tactics employed by the government in handling the affair.
Talking on the occasion, Nasir said they were assured that their recommendations will be incorporated in the legislation but so far little has been done.
