Uniting Leagues: Chaudhry Shujaat calls on Zulfiqar Khosa
The meeting lasted for more than an hour and a half

“We are trying to unite Muslim League workers and asking sidelined members of mainstream political parties to join us,” said former prime minister Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain on Monday.
He was talking to newsmen following a meeting with former Punjab governor Zulfiqar Khosa at his residence.
Khosa received Hussain, MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema and Sardar Maqsood Leghari at the gate of his residence and embraced Hussain. The meeting lasted for more than an hour and a half. Former Punjab chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa was also present.
Hussain said Muslim League had achieved Pakistan. “In 1947, it was a ray of hope for the people. We will unite workers against the appropriation of Jinnah’s mantle by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N),” he said.
“Muslim Leagues A, B, C etc need to unite,” he said.
“Unity of Muslim League workers is the way forward,” he said.
He said Khosa shared his views. “Khosa didn’t leave Muslim League, neither did I. We will bring it together,” he said.
“We will go to all four provinces as well as Azad Kashmir and bring Muslim Leaguers to a single platform,” he said.
Khosa said he endorsed Hussain’s views.
“PML-N is no longer Muslim League, it is Nawaz League,” said Khosa.
He said he appreciated Shujaat Hussain’s efforts to bring Muslim League workers together.
