Filling the void: 249 judicial officers appointed on vacancies
According to Arab, 77 judicial officers will be recruited over the next few weeks and 98 in the year, 2016
HYDERABAD:
The Sindh High Court’s chief justice, Faisal Arab, said that 249 vacancies of judicial officers out of the total 364 in the province’s sessions and civil courts have been filled.
The appointments on the remaining posts will be completed by next year, he said on Saturday while addressing the district bars in Sanghar and Matiari.
As many as 54 additional district and session judges, 68 senior civil judges and 126 civil judges and judicial magistrates have been appointed, he added.
According to Arab, 77 judicial officers will be recruited over the next few weeks and 98 in the year, 2016. The chief justice also announced that a judicial complex will be built in Sanghar, comprising the banking, labour, anti-terrorism and other courts, while two auditoriums will be built in Sukkur and Hyderabad.
He assured that four new judges will be appointed in Matiari district.
