Skills: Registration starts for TEVTA programmes

The chairman said these courses would help uncertified skilled workers in obtaining certification

TEVTA is launching the second phase of its Recognition of Prior Learning programme under which applicants can register for free.  Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said people applying for RPL should be at least 18 years old, have a valid CNIC, at least two years of work experience in an industry, evidence of prior training, record of employment, and a reference from a previous employer.


He said registration for the programme was free and applicants could join any of the 15 vocational short courses the TEVTA was offering. The chairman said these courses would help uncertified skilled workers in obtaining certification.
