SWA IDPs: New phase of repatriation begins Aug 31

Checkpoint has been established in Khairgay, FR Tank from where the families will be returned to their native villages

PESHAWAR:



The repatriation of displaced families hailing from Sararogha, Sarawakai and Tiarza tehsils of South Waziristan Agency will begin from August 31. According to a notification issued by the FATA Disaster Management Authority, tribespeople registered with the National Database and Registration Authority will receive Rs10,000 per family in terms of transport allowances via SIM cards. An additional cash grant of Rs25,000 per family will also be provided to those returning to their homes. A checkpoint has been established in Khairgay, FR Tank from where the families will be returned to their native villages.
