Four people committed suicide and five people attempted to kill themselves in Faisalabad region on Wednesday. Police said a 24-year-old man in Chak 225-RB, Malkhanwala, swallowed poison after quarrelling with his family members.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment but he died soon after. A 21-year-old woman in Chak 258-JB swallowed poison after her parents scolded her over a domestic issue. She was taken to a hospital where she died later.

A 20-year-old woman in Alipura, a 20-year-old man in Small Industries Estate, a 20-year-old man in Chak 239-RB, a 22-year-old woman in Chak 215-RB, and a 25-year-old woman in Shadab Colony attempted suicide. They were taken to hospitals where they are under treatment.
