Reckless driving : Two dead, nine injured in road accident

The two bodies were late shifted to the mortuary to fulfill legal requirements

LARKANA:
A man and an infant died, while nine people were injured in a road accident near the Kanga police station on Tuesday. The accident occurred when a passenger wagon and a dumper collided on Miro Khan Road. The wagon driver, Manzoor Chandio, and an infant, son of Nazir Chandio, died on the spot. The other passengers, Ali Murad Kori, 45, Roshan Ali Jogi, 65, Nek Muhammad Chandio, 60, Abdul Rashid Chandio, 26, Jeejan, 27, Heer, 25, Ghulam Fatima, 22, Fateh Muhammad Chandio, 23, and  two-year-old Mazhar Kori were injured. According to the passengers, the wagon driver gave a signal to the dumper to slow down but the driver did not respond. The deceased and the injured were taken to Chandka Medical College Hosptal. The two bodies were late shifted to the mortuary to fulfill legal requirements.
