Shops agree to 8 pm

Traders have agreed to shut down markets at 8 pm as long as the Sindh government assures them an uninterrupted power supply.
For its part the Sindh government has assured the business community that it will fight for 9 pm at the first fortnightly review of the energy conservation policy that is being held in Islamabad. Traders and government officials met at the Chief Minister House on Tuesday. A traders’ representative, Abdul Majeed Haji Mohammed, said that they gave KESC a list of 73 feeders for markets. It was decided that there would be no outages from 5 pm to 8 pm. Wedding halls will be timed from 9 pm to 12 am.
