KARACHI:
Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif arrived in Karachi on Monday night as part of a scheduled visit to review the overall security situation amidst the ongoing operation by the paramilitary Rangers and police.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief will visit the Karachi Corps Headquarters and address army officers and soldiers on Tuesday. Gen Raheel will chair an important meeting on the prevailing security situation of the port city.
