Cooperation: Austrian delegation visits UVAS
The VC briefed the delegation about UVAS’s academic, research and training programmes

A delegation from Austria visited the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) and called on Vice Chancellor Talat Naseer Pasha at the university’s City Campus on Monday. Prof Dr Michael Hess from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna; Dr Nadim Mukhles Amarin, the regional technical manager of Poultry Middle East and North Africa Regional Office (MENA) in Boehringer Ingelheim, Amman, in Jordan; and Dr Mahmoud Tayeh, the national sales manager of Poultry and Equine Business Unit GCC and Pakistan and Levant Countries in Boehringer Ingelheim, Amman, met Pasha. The VC briefed the delegation about UVAS’s academic, research and training programmes. They discussed enhancing cooperation in the areas of including vaccine development, fisheries and poultry sciences.
