Cultural show: Drama competition held in Parachinar
They had prepared dramas and skits on social issues such as those pertaining to the Wagah Border

The students of National College of Arts, Lahore arranged a drama competition and cultural show for the students of government and private schools in Kurram Agency. The event took place in Parachinar on Monday. “After observing the interest of the children and tribespeople in the event, we have decided to organise more such events in the region,” said programme director Syed Ahmad Ali Shah while addressing the participants and audience on the occasion. Students of various schools from across the agency participated in the drama competitions and cultural show. They had prepared dramas and skits on social issues such as those pertaining to the Wagah Border, corruption, education system and justice. “After watching the performance of these children, I can say that we have a bright future,” said Colonel Tariq Rashid. The competition started at 9am and went on till 6pm.
