HYDERABAD:
A woman and her two daughters were found dead in their house in Tando Allahyar district on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Rabia, 44, and her daughters Mahwish, 18, and Sadia, 15. According to the family, they were murdered by Mahwish's husband.

The throats of all three were slit with a sharp object, said Dr Mayam who carried out the post-mortem of the bodies. There were cuts on the hands of the girls, she added. Rabia's husband, Manzoor Malik, lodged an FIR against his son-in-law Kashif Malik, Kashif's father, Ashraf, and brother, Asif.

Manzoor said he woke up to shouts in the house around 4am and saw four men running out of the house after killing his wife and daughters. Mahwish married Kashif over six months ago but he used to abuse her, Manzoor informed the police. Kashif had verbally divorced her several times, he claimed. Mahwish returned home and was living with the family for the past few days, he said. Kashif came to their house recently and assaulted his wife, he added.

The police have arrested two suspects, said SHO Riaz Soomro. They have also collected samples of the meal served at the dinner and dispatched them at the food testing lab in Karachi, he added.
