Unidentified armed men shot down a police official in Quetta, early Saturday morning
BAJAUR AGENCY, QUETTA:
In a firing incident Saturday, a Frontier Corps officer was shot dead when unidentified assailants opened fire on Quetta's Sariab Road.
Initial reports revealed that unidentified armed men shot the police officer, identified as Muhammad Rehman, in the head near a petrol station on Sariab Road.
Further, sources said that the tyre of Rehman's motorcycle had been punctured due to which he was near the petrol station.

Earlier, at least four policemen, including an ASI, were killed when armed assailants opened fire on a police van in Pashtoonabad area of the district.
Militants opened fire on a patrolling police vehicle, killing four policemen on the spot, SSP Operations Quetta Aitzaz Goraya said. He said the assailants were riding motorcycles when they opened fire on the police vehicle and managed to escape from the scene.
