KARACHI: Emphasis on educational research will enable the students to play an important role in the development of the country, said Newports Institute of Communications and Economics (NICE) head Prof Abdul Rehman. He was presiding over a meeting of NICE’s board of advanced study and research on Friday. Qualified youngsters are playing their due role throughout Pakistan, said Rehman. However, concentration on research along with providing education and training will allow Pakistan to compete on an international scale, he added. Developing a better education system in collaboration with the universities will enhance the scope and focus of research, said Quality Enhancement Cells director Huma Bukhari.
