MNA Mussarat Ahmed Zeb visits Swat university

Zeb lauds the quality and standard of education the department is giving to the students

MINGORA: MNA Mussarat Ahmed Zeb along with senior journalist Murtaza Solangi visited Department of Media and Communication Studies at University of Swat on Friday and discussed the need for innovation in the academic and practical fields of journalism.

While addressing the students, Solangi said the region needs development that can to some extent be achieved when journalism is promoted by universities and the local journalists’ community. He added that students should be well-equipped in both theory and practice of journalism before they are given a degree.

On the occasion, MNA Zeb lauded the quality and standard of education the department is giving to the students. She thanked chairman of the department, Khalid Khan, and faculty member Sajjad Ali for their efforts in the region to promote practical and theoretical journalism.

She said that her current status as a political leader is passing through an enigmatic situation, nevertheless she wants to do something for her people.

syed & syed | 9 years ago | Reply On one hand MNA Zeb visited Swat University on the other hand a money launderer having over 80 visits abroad having wild connections was invited by students and authorities of Karachi University and also delivered a speech. What a shame
