Disneyland turns Dismaland: Darker, grittier and grotesque
Street artist Banksy's new theme park will send shivers down your spine
To everyone who believe that Disney is all about fairy tales, this story would be a terror tale, but one you would love to experience because it's a nightmare rendition of the famous Disneyland.
"Are you looking for an alternative to the sugar-coated tedium of the average family day out? Or just somewhere a lot cheaper? Then this is the place for you. Bring the whole family to come and enjoy the latest addition to our chronic leisure surplus," states the official site of Dismaland.
Dismaland -- created by the notorious street artist Banksy -- opens today with a darker twist to all theme-park attractions.
The gloomy Disney castle is not where you would like to take your children, but it's definitely a must for all those adults who don't find amusement parks amusing anymore.
"I loved the Tropicana as a kid, so getting to throw these doors open again is a real honour," said Banksy, reports BBC.
He said, "A dead princess is only complete when surrounded by gawping crowds with their cameras out.

"Or the opportunity to photograph yourself pulling an amazed expression when a killer whale leaps from a toilet."
"I guess you'd say it's a theme park whose big theme is 'theme parks should have bigger themes'," he added.

The official site further states that Dismaland contains uneven floor surfaces, extensive use of strobe lighting, imagery unsuitable for small children and swearing.
The following are strictly prohibited in the Park: spray paint, marker pens, knives and legal representatives of the Walt Disney Corporation.

The abysmal spectacle revolves around general themes like the apocalypse, anti-consumerism, and anti-corporate messages.
Located at the seafront in Weston-super-Mare, UK -- the five-week festival will also feature the bizarre artwork of 50 other artists from around the world including Damien Hirst, Bill Barminski, Caitlin Cherry, Polly Morgan, Josh Keyes, Mike Ross, David Shrigley, Bäst, and Espo.
This one sums up the entire theme of Dismaland.
We hope everyone who visit the latest pop-up theme park is really bemused as it is supposed to be "The UK's most disappointing new visitor attraction!" according to their official brochure.
The park will open doors to public on Aug 22 through September 27th 2015. Adults have to pay £3, while children under five can enter for free.
