Fellowship programme: NUML graduates leaving for US
This is the fifth cohort of scholars going to the UNT under the Research Fellowship Programme
ISLAMABAD:
A group of nine selected scholars of the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) will proceed to University of North Texas, the US, on Friday to attend a 40-day long research fellowship program.
At a ceremony held here on Thursday, four male and five female PhD and MPhil scholars of the NUML’s English Department were handed over tickets and health insurance cards by Rector Maj-Gen (retd) Ziaud Din Najam.
This is the fifth cohort of scholars going to the UNT under the Research Fellowship Programme which is part of a three-year long academic partnership between the two universities to boost research and academic culture.
Najam said that would be a golden opportunity for the scholars to learn and integrate latest research and academic practices at the UNT and then apply them to their own classes when they return.
