In an unusual event a man died of a snake bite in the Dhoke Jheel, Kallar Syedan on Thursday. He had killed a snake at his house a day earlier.
According family members, the victim, Raja Amir, 24, was sleeping at his residence when he was bit.
He died on way to the tehsil headquarters hospital. Locals claimed that Amir had killed a snake a day earlier after it entered his house. According to them, Amir and his family members were sleeping, when another snake sneaked up on slyly and stung Amir before disappearing.
According to the locals, while Amir’s body was being taken to the graveyard three more snakes appeared on the premises of his house. One of the snakes was killed by the people gathered while the two disappeared mysteriously.
The appearance of five snakes in the house has terrified the deceased’s family and the locals.
