MQM never opposed Karachi operation: Farooq Sattar
Says they want the operation to be transparent and under the ambit of law
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) never opposed the ongoing operation in Karachi and has only stressed that it should be held in a transparent manner under the ambit of law, the party's parliamentary leader of the political party Farooq Sattar has said.
Addressing a press conference at the party's headquarters Nine Zero on Thursday, Sattar lamented that the premier did not address their concerns during his latest visit to the megalopolis, Express News reported.
The statement came hours after Prime Minister chaired a high level National Apex Committee meeting wherein he categorically declared that the operation in Karachi would not be halted 'at any cost'.

"Who did the premier refer to when he said that the operation would not be stopped," Sattar asked, adding, "Prime Minister returned without answering our constitutional questions."
