The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi arrested a suspect over his alleged involvement in land grabbing and illegal sale of hundreds of acres of government land. Haroon Panjwani, son of Suleman, was arrested in an ongoing investigation. According to the NAB spokesperson, the accused was involved in land grabbing and illegal sale of hundreds of acres of government land in Memon Colony, Hassan Brohi Goth and Deh Nangan Tappo Songal in Karachi. Fake sanads of Gothabad Scheme were allegedly given to the public, showing the land to be regularised by government under Gothabad Housing Scheme Act, 1987.
