Petty issue: Boy commits suicide

Police said the funeral prayers of the deceased had been offered in Yazman yesterday

Police said on Monday that a boy had committed suicide in Yazman after a minor argument with his family.


Officials said the Saddar Bazaar resident had swallowed poison after exchanging harsh words with his family over a petty issue. Police said the family of the deceased had taken him to a local hospital in Yazman where doctors had referred him to Bahawal Victoria Hospital. Officials said the deceased had later died at the establishment. Police said the funeral prayers of the deceased had been offered in Yazman yesterday (Tuesday) after hospital authorities had handed over the body to the family of the deceased for burial.
