Within 24 hours: Alleged murderer arrested

SWABI: Police arrested a man charged with murder in Swabi on Tuesday. According to a police official, Fawad allegedly opened fire on his friends Nasir and Waqar at Safdar Shaheed Chowk in Topi on Monday. Both men died on the spot while Fawad managed to escape after committing the crime. DPO Sajjad Khan instructed the police to conduct a search operation and arrest the culprit. Fawad was arrested on the very next day. Police believe the incident was triggered by an argument between the victim and the assailants. The detainee was put behind bars.
