Hürrem from Mera Sultan dances to London Thumakda

Many of us didn't have a slightest hint about the magnificent Ottoman Empire until we started watching Turkish series Mera Sultan. 

The TV series reflected the reigning period of the Ottoman Emperor, Sultan Suleiman, one of the show's claim to fame was the beauty of the Emperor's on-screen consorts.

From his three wives, the one who absolutely stole the show with her golden locks and captivating eyes was none other than Hürrem Sultan, played by Meryem Uzerli.
