Thq hospital hazro: Ombudsman takes note of missing staff

According to the reports, stretchers were also missing from the hospital when the injured were rushed to the facility

Punjab Ombudsman Javed Mahmood has taken notice of a news item about the sufferings of the Attock suicide blast injured persons in the absence of medicines, doctors and paramedical staff at tehsil headquarters hospital Hazro, seeking a report from the provincial health secretary on the issue. According to reports, the injured of the blast could not get required medical treatment at the hospital and they had to be shifted to other hospitals due to non-availability of doctors, the paramedical staff and medicines. According to the reports, stretchers were also missing from the hospital when the injured were rushed to the facility and the emergency ward was ill-equipment to deal with the injured and they had to be shifted to Kamra Cantt, Wah Cantt, Attock and Rawalpindi for treatment.
