Landikotal tragedy: Siblings die in roof cave-in
Neighbours rushed to rescue the children, but they were already dead

Two children died when the roof of their mud house caved-in during heavy downpour in the Sheen Pokh area of Landikotal in Khyber Agency on Sunday. An official of the Khasadar force said that son and daughter of Muhammad Moeen were present inside a room in his house when the roof caved-in. Neighbours rushed to rescue the children, but they were already dead. Collapsing of the roofs of mud houses has become a major cause of fatal accidents during rains.
