Gunned down: Man killed over old hostility
The police said the accused assailants had fled the area after the killing

A man was killed by three assailants in the Taxila police jurisdiction. In his complaint lodged with the police, Mudassar Khan said his uncle Amjad Pervez was ambushed by three assailants. The accused were identified as Shafique, Adeel and Nausherwan in the report, who are said to have had an old enmity with Pervez. Khan claims the three had made a previous attempt on Pervez’s life. The police said the accused assailants had fled the area after the killing. A case has been registered, the police said.
