8 reasons why Pakistanis should love India
Dear Pakistanis, love thy neighbour for all that it has given you
For 68 years, Pakistan and India have behaved like step sisters. As much as we claim to hate them, deep down we know life would not have been the same without this love-hate relationship.
To all the Pakistanis, here's why you should love thy neighbour!
1. Bollywood
Admit it, life would have definitely been incomplete without a bollywood dialogue that fits any given situation.
Can't love Babu jee enough for giving us the famous dialogue, "Ja Simran jee le apni zindagi"
Note: Do not try this with your parents, unless of course you want some extra blush on those cheeks!
2. Masala dossa
One of the most mouth-watering South Indian dishes. Who would have thought a crepe made out of rice with potato filling could satisfy those cravings?
3. Zero
Aryabhatta was the man behind the digit and since then it has played a vital role in arithmetic as Math would not have made sense without zeros.
So if you like the extra zeros on your cheque, thank the Indians for it!
4. Saris
India's national dress and also a marital trademark for an Indian woman, the sari, is loved by all Pakistani women as they choose to wear it on various occasions ranging from weddings to formal gatherings.
Now now ladies, you might think you can pull off that sari better than them, but make sure you don't forget to thank India for giving you the chance to look so glamorous!
5. Cricket
Watching cricket wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for Pakistan-India matches. The reason why the "mauka mauka" commercials went viral was because of how serious people on both sides of the border are about the game.
Not only do boys look forward to the matches but the girls also use them as a chance to brush up on their cricket knowledge.
6. Plastic surgery
The first surgery was carried out in India as early as 2000 BCE, after an Indian came up with the surgery technique.
Do you think your Bollywood beauty, Piggy Chops would have made it to Hollywood without that nosejob?
7. Mohammad Rafi
It is true when your parents tell you Mohammad Rafi was a legend. The man sung over 5000 songs with each one of them being a hit.
And even after so many years and generations, nobody for a second judges you for listening to his songs.
This is just one of our favourites!
8. Salman Khan
Oh dear neighbour, we love you for giving us Salman Khan. His personality, acting, the wit, never fails to take our breath away.
Dear Pakistanis, please be thankful and if nothing else, India deserves all the love for giving us movies like Andaz Apna Apna and Dabangg where his humorous dialogues made us laugh for years. And then came Bajrangi Bhaijaan when this man made even his haters cry.
