Casualties: One dead, two injured in Bannu

In a separate incident, two people were injured when a speeding car collided with a rickshaw

At least one person was killed while two others were injured in separate incidents in Bannu on Friday. A police official told The Express Tribune, Muhammad Bilal’s 28-year-old son drowned in a canal within the jurisdiction of Huwed police station. “Bilal told the police his son, who was suffering from epilepsy, had gone to the canal to perform wudu in the morning,” the official said. “However, he eventually lost consciousness, slipped and drowned in the canal.” According to the official, residents of the area managed to rescue him but he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. In a separate incident, two people were injured when a speeding car collided with a rickshaw within the jurisdiction of Huwed police station. The driver of the car managed to escape. However, police are searching for him.”
