At least four people were arrested during a crackdown against drug dealers and manufacturers in the city.
Addressing a news conference in police lines, SSP Operations Dr Mian Saeed said the crackdown has been successful and will continue till the aim is achieved.“We have recovered 280 kilogrammes of hashish, 24 kilogrammes of heroin and four kilogrammes of opium during the crackdown,” he said.

At least four people were arrested during a crackdown against drug dealers and manufacturers in the city.
Speaking to The Express Tribune, a police official said search operations have been conducted in various parts of the city for over two weeks.
“Four culprits who were smuggling drugs to Qatar, Dubai and Hong Kong were caught during the crackdown,” he said. “Heroin was seized from their possession and they have been taken into custody.”
So far, 25 proclaimed offenders have been rounded up and are currently under interrogation.
