FAISALABAD:

The Outdoor Patients Department (OPD) of Children’s Hospital Faisalabad will open on August 13, Project Director Mukhtar Randhawa told The Express Tribune on Sunday.

Randhawa said the hospital had been built on 280 kanals. He said arrangements for the OPD inauguration were being finalised.

He said the administration, accounts and audit and purchasing cells had been set up at the hospital.

The project director said children would be treated free of charge at the facility.

He said after the OPD, the emergency block of the hospital would be made functional. “In the second phase, the construction of a diagnostics block, a nursing school and hostels will be taken up,” he said.
