Delayed construction: Commissioner fines contractor for delays
He also said that the Mehran underpass will be inaugurated during the end of August
KARACHI:
Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui imposed a fine of Rs0.1million on Kamran and Company - the contractor of Jam Sadiq Bridge - on Saturday. He said that a notice has been issued to the firm and its chief engineer as the contractor did not work during night. He also said that the Mehran underpass will be inaugurated during the end of August. “The Malir 15 Flyover will begin functioning in the next four months,” he claimed.
