Govt moves against guide material
The availability of guides and ‘guess’ papers is seen as hampering the creativity and cognitive abilities of students
RAWALPINDI:
Publishers and retailers have been warned by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB) against publishing, printing or selling guide books, test papers or ‘guess’ papers for various academic levels, with immediate effect.
The step is being taken under directives by the Punjab government, a spokesperson for the board said. The availability of guides and ‘guess’ papers is seen as hampering the creativity and cognitive abilities of students, the representative added.
