ISLAMABAD:

The administrator of Islamabad Convent Schools has rendered an unconditional apology to the interior ministry for “uncalled for litigation” following the cancellation of the visas of the RVM Sisters working in these schools.

“We regret the steps taken by us for the restoration of the visas of the RVM Sisters,” the administrator wrote in his apology. “We understand that according to the law, we should have made a review appeal to the interior ministry instead of directly approaching the court,” he said.

The administrator also regretted that the name of the interior minister was unnecessarily brought up in the case due to media reports. He offered the ‘highest assurance’ that Islamabad Convent Schools will fully abide by the government rules and procedures in all matters.
