Democracy: ‘PML-N and PPP on the decline’
Sarwar said the rulers had failed to fulfil their promises of ridding the nation of inflation and energy crisis
LAHORE:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Provincial Organiser Chaudhry Sarwar said on Friday political standing of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the Pakistan People’s Party had declined. “The nation will not allow them to stay in power if they fail to come up to their expectations,” Sarwar said while addressing a delegation of women led by ex PML-Q leader Rukhsana Mehr who joined the PTI on Friday. He accused the PML-N and the PPP of plundering the public wealth. He said the PTI would continue to support democracy. He said government leaders were afraid of losing local government elections. That was why they were delaying the vote, he said. He said true representatives of people would win the elections. Sarwar said the rulers had failed to fulfil their promises of ridding the nation of inflation and energy crisis.
