Rape: Two suspects denied bail
The suspects had been found guilty of raping an eight-year-old boy

Pakpattan police arrested two sodomy suspects on Friday after a three-judge bench of the Supreme Court dismissed their bail petition. Through their counsel, Qurban Akhtar and Asad had denied the charge. They said the case was a result of a property dispute. An additional prosecutor general told the bench the suspects had been found guilty of raping an eight-year-old boy. He said a DNA test had confirmed the incident. He requested the court to turn down their bail application.
