Musharraf’s counsel had requested the court to exempt his client from personal appearance
ISLAMABAD:
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Friday granted exemption to former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf from personal appearance in the judges’ detention case on medical grounds. ATC-II Judge Sohail Ikram granted the exemption to the former president from personal appearance for the August 7 hearing on the application of his counsel. Musharraf’s counsel had requested the court to exempt his client from personal appearance due to his ill health.
