National issue: JI chief demands massive relief work for Chitral
The JI chief appreciated the help and relief measures being done by the armed forces
CHITRAL:
The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Sirajul Haq has called upon the government to declare the Chitral situation a national issue and chalk out a comprehensive plan for the immediate help and rehabilitation of the affected people. He was talking to the media before taking an aerial view of the flood-affected area in a helicopter along with senior officials. Earlier, he was briefed about the losses caused by the rains and floods in Chitral and the help provided by the armed forces to the affected people. The JI chief appreciated the help and relief measures being done by the armed forces. Later, the JI chief flew over the area that had been cut off from the rest of the country due to flood and met the people at Bamboorate, Resh, More Khoo, and Mashkool. He assured them of every possible help from the JI and Al-Khidmat foundation.
