The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has said that the government wants deradicalisation of Federal Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) through economic development.


He was chairing a meeting on revival of industries in Fata. The meeting was informed about security of investment and investors in the tribal belt.


The governor called for promoting poultry and livestock farming on commercial level in Fata. He said that Fata is soon to be heading towards a progressive era that will also positively change the fate of its people.


He said that economic activities in Fata would improve the living standard. The governor directed the officers concerned to ensure the establishment of industrial estates, economic development and revival of industries in the region.
