PESHAWAR:
The process to reorganise Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is in full swing and a caretaker setup will be announced so that intra-party polls are conducted.

This was said by PTI K-P Organiser Fazal Muhammad Khan. “We are going to each district to talk to workers and local leaders to ensure district organisers, deputy organisers, and information secretaries are selected with consensus,” he said, talking to the media at PTI K-P Secretariat in the city on Wednesday.

“We will announce these three positions for each district and district executive councils will also be constituted. Those who contested the 2013 general elections would be a part of them.”

MPA Shaukat Yousafzai, PTI Peshawar leader Zafar Khattak and other workers were also in attendance.

Fazal said the date for the intra-party polls cannot be confirmed as yet as the district organisers and deputy organisers are still being nominated. However, after the caretaker setup is in place, the schedule will be announced.

Talking about the Judicial Commission, Fazal said it was widely believed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz formed the commission but it was in fact an outcome of the PTI sit-in in Islamabad.

He said people believe Chief Minister Pervez Khattak did not visit flood-affected areas but he has reviewed damages and is helping the affected population in every way possible.
