Chief Minister Pervez Khattak directed authorities to prepare an integrated project for cleanliness, waste collection and disposal for the whole of K-P. According to a handout issued on Tuesday, the CM met international consultants to discuss projects which could improve environmental conditions. The handout stated the project will be initiated in urban centres and then extended to all rural and remote areas. The handout quoted Khattak as saying rural areas will not be ignored. “Our villages are equally polluted,” it added.
