Shakai raid : Two security officials injured in attack
Security forces launched a retaliatory action soon after the attack

Two members of the security forces were injured Sunday morning when militants attacked a check post in Shakai tehsil of South Waziristan.
An official said that a convoy of security forces was en route from Miramshah to Bannu. When the convoy reached near Aisha check post, eight kilometres from Miranmshah, one of the vehicles swerved off the road and fell into a deep gorge. The injured were rushed to CMH, Bannu, the official said.

Two members of the security forces were injured Sunday morning when militants attacked a check post in Shakai tehsil of South Waziristan.
According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, a group of ‘well-equipped’ militants attacked the security forces check post at Ziarat in Shakai tehsil.
Security forces launched a retaliatory action soon after the attack, ISPR said.
Separately, an official of the security forces lost his life and five others were injured when their vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Aisha check post in North Waziristan Agency on Sunday.
